From 1985 Theo-Willem van Leeuwen has worked in the corporate world, including as marketing manager and general manager at various companies in the advertising industry. In 2002, he made the switch to law. At the University of Leiden, Theo-Willem studied Dutch law. His thesis was devoted to trademark law.
In recent years Theo-Willem has focused mainly on the larger international/corporate clients. He is active in the Benelux Association for Trademark and Design Law (executive committee). At BMM, he is also active as a lecturer in the paralegal course.
Outside his work, Theo-Willem enjoys culture, especially in the fields of music and art. Tennis and swimming provide him with the necessary athletic exercise. In addition, Theo-Willem is active in the summer as a volunteer in teenage/survival camps.
