Up to 1,000 Euro subsidy (SME Voucher)

Protecting your trademark, but with lower costs? This is possible with the SME voucher, while supplies last. With this European subsidy you can save up to € 1,000 on the official application fees for a trademark or design. Abcor is happy to take the administrative burden off your hands and therefore submits both the subsidy application and the trademark application or desisgn application for you.

How much subsidy can you receive?

You can receive a subsidy for both the application for a trademark and a design. You will receive part of the official application fees back.
Benelux: 75% of the official taxes
European Union: 75% of official taxes
Outside EU (IR): 50% of official taxes

For who?

Small or medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) falling under the European definition:

  • Establishment in an EU Member State with fewer than 250 employees?
  • Annual turnover lower than 50 million euros and/or the annual balance sheet lower than 43 million?
  • Have not previously received a subsidy for a trademark and/or design application

If you can answer “yes” to everything, you meet the conditions and you are eligible for the SME voucher.

How does it work?

  • You send us the necessary information & documents
  • Abcor applies for the SME voucher for you and prepares the trademark application
  • Abcor will receive notification within one month whether the application has been approved
  • You will receive a voucher worth €1,000
  • Abcor applies for your trademark and you pay the application costs, of which you are send the payment confirmation
  • We will redeem the voucher within 30 days of receipt and you will receive a reimbursement of 50 or 75% of the official taxes.

Requirements

To apply for the SME voucher, we need some information from you, namely:

  1. Authorization to request a voucher for you. We will send this to you for signature
  2. Bank certificate or bank statement stating the name of your company as account holder, the IBAN with country code and BIX/SWIFT code. You can request this from the bank.
  3. A VAT declaration or proof of the company’s national registration number, issued by the competent national authority. This can be a statement from the Tax Authorities or a Chamber of Commerce extract
