Starting August 3, trademark protection in Qatar can be claimed via the International Registration route.
The International Registration is a cost-effective and straightforward way to register a trademark in many countries outside the European Union (such as China, the USA, the United Arab Emirates, and Canada). This is now possible in 131 countries. Besides the lower application costs, the maintenance costs are also significantly more attractive compared to a national registration.
